New Castle County

New Castle County experienced a 3.2% decrease in the number of sold homes for the first 9 months of 2020 compared to 2019 and a 7.4% increase in the median sales price from $237,500 to $255,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st nine months of 2020 decreased 1.5% from 2019.

Kent County

For the 1st nine months of 2020, Kent County experienced a 10.3% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2019 and a 6.7% increase in the median sales price from $225,000 to $240,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first 9 months of 2020 increased 13.0% from 2019.

Sussex County

For the first 9 months of 2020, Sussex County experienced an 15.9% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2019 and an 11.2% increase in the median sales price from $285,920 to $318,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st nine months of 2020 increased 18.1% from 2019.

Pennsylvania

Southern Chester County

Southern Chester County  experienced an 5.9% increase in the number of sold homes in the 1st nine months of 2020 compared to 2019 and a 6.8% increase in the median price of sold homes, from $388,688 to $415,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first 9 months of 2020 increased 6.8% from 2019.

Cecil County

For the first 9 months of 2020, Cecil County experienced a 6.7% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2019 and an increase in the median sales price of 8.7%; from $229,900 to $250,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st nine months of 2020 increased 4.1% from 2019.
