Wilmignton, Delaware, is situated off of the Delaware River, where the Brandywine Creek and Christina River meet. Wilmington is a diverse and culturally rich city. The revitalization of Market Street and the Wilmington Riverfront over the past few years has created some of the best walkable living options for young professionals and those seeking a welcoming and affordable urban experience.

Wilmington has long been known for having a business-friendly tax environment. This drew many Fortune 500 companies to Wilmington over the years, which built up exceptionally strong financial, insurance, and healthcare industries within the city.

Moreover, given Wilmington’s location and relatively compact size, you’re never more than a 20 minute car ride to the many suburban amenities and communities.

Neighborhood Spotlight:

Trolley Square

Trolley Square is a trendy neighborhood packed with shops, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Catherine Rooney’s pub on 16th is a staple of the community, but if you’re looking for a different vibe, just press the intercom behind the pub and check out the neighborhood speakeasy, Hummingbird to Mars. The Trolley Square neighborhood is home to many young professionals and offers beautiful historic townhomes, condos, and apartment options for residents.

Wilmington Riverfront

Once home to sprawling industrial sites, the Wilmington Riverfront is now home to a convention center, retail stores, restaurants, bars, apartments and condos – with more development still on the way! Housing includes beautiful townhomes, luxury apartment rentals, and upscale highrise condos.

One of the area’s most attractive amenities is the Riverwalk, which stretches for 1.5 miles along the Christina River. On the Riverwalk, between enjoying the views of the river and Wilmington skyline, you can stop to play mini-golf, grab some ice cream, or swing by Constitution Yards for some beers and a cornhole tournament!
